I think the SCIP is a brilliant initiative taken by Tata to encourage and help women to get back on track after a long break from work. Though many organizations were keen to help women resume their careers, TATA designed a program exclusively for this purpose. Looks like the TATA's have earned another feather in it's cap ! Good stuff !

The Tata SCIP is no doubt a great initiative towards providing a second career opportunity.
But few questions arises!!!
a)the number of intake for the program (very limited)
b)It is an enrolment for particular few projects
c)No assurance of absorption in the company after the completion of the projects.
But no doubt it gives a ray of hope to the women who wants to come back. At least something is better than nothing...
